Suman Fancy

Our shop, Suman Fancy, is located in the D M Shamanna Complex, inside the Gopalappa Building near the Venugopala Swamy Temple in Versova, Krisnarajapuram. It’s a bit of a mouthful to say the whole address, but most locals just know the building near the temple. KR Puram is a busy area and the temple brings a lot of people by our door. We sell a variety of fancy goods, jewelry, and small household items. The shop is part of a larger complex, so there are always other business owners around to talk to. We have our regulars who come in after visiting the temple to see what new stock we’ve brought in. The shelves are filled with colorful items, and we try to keep things looking decent, though it’s hard with so many tiny pieces. Sometimes the power goes out in the complex and we have to use flashlights to show people the goods. It’s a bit cramped inside, but that’s part of the charm of a local fancy store. We spend our days chatting with neighbors and keeping an eye on the street. The Gopalappa Building is an older structure, so it has a lot of character. We’ve been here for a good few years now and it feels like home. It’s not a high-end boutique, just a place where you can find what you need for a few rupees. We enjoy the community here in Krisnarajapuram and the daily bustle.
