Suhana Travels

We’re located in Jari House, over in Jari Nagar in the Bajpe area of Mangalore. It’s a familiar spot for people around here, especially since we’re not too far from the airport. The office is just a simple room in the house where we’ve set up our tables and chairs. It’s not one of those big travel agencies you see in malls. We mostly deal with people from the neighborhood and folks passing through on their way to or from the airport. Mangalore can get very humid, so we usually have the fans going full blast all day. It’s a family-run kind of feel, even if we aren’t all related. We’ve been in Jari Nagar for a long time, so we’ve seen the area change quite a bit. There’s always someone coming in to ask about bus timings or flights, and we just do our best to find the info on our old computers. The internet can be a bit slow sometimes, but we manage to get things booked eventually. We don’t have a website or any fancy brochures. People just know where to find us. It’s honest work and we enjoy being part of the community here. The rain during monsoon season can be really heavy, sometimes it even leaks a bit near the door, but we just put a bucket down and keep going. We keep a pot of tea going and just take things as they come.
