Subham Cloth Centre

Subham Cloth Centre is situated at 210, right opposite the Corporation Kalyana Mantapa. This is just outside Panigate in the Subramanya Nagar area. Having a wedding hall right across the street definitely keeps things interesting for us. We see a lot of people who are in a rush to get something fixed or added to their outfits before a big event starts. Our shop is a bit small, but we try to pack in as many different types of cloth as possible. You’ll find rolls of silk, cotton, and synthetic fabrics piled up on the counters. It’s not always the neatest place, but we know exactly where everything is located. The street outside can get very crowded when there is a function at the Mantapa, with cars and people everywhere. We’ve been here for several years now, and the local residents know us as the place to go for their fabric needs. We don't have any big corporate goals or anything like that. We just focus on serving the people who walk through our door. Sometimes we stay open a little later if we know there is a big wedding happening across the way. It’s a simple operation run by a couple of us who have lived in this area for a long time. We just provide the materials and leave the rest to the tailors and the customers. It's a busy, local life here at Subramanya Nagar.
