Subha Neelamana

Started here at Manjunatha Nilaya a while back. It’s on the 1st Main in Maruthi Nagar, right in the middle of Madiwala. If you know Bangalore, you know this part of town is always moving. My spot is at 301, on the 6th Cross. It’s not a huge place, just a workspace where I get things done. Most days start early because the traffic around here gets pretty loud once the sun is up. The building has that typical local feel, nothing fancy but it works for me. I’ve lived in this city for a long time, and being based in Madiwala keeps me close to everything. There’s a tea stall around the corner I visit when I need a break. Sometimes the courier guys struggle to find the 6th Cross because of the way the streets are laid out, but once you find it, it's easy. I handle my daily tasks here, answering emails and keeping track of whatever needs doing. It’s just me, Subha Neelamana, working out of this third-floor space. People around the neighborhood are mostly students or office workers, so it’s a busy atmosphere. I didn’t want a big corporate office in some glass building. This feels more real. It gets a bit dusty with the construction nearby, but that’s just how it is. I keep the windows open mostly for some fresh air. It’s a simple setup for honest work, with a lot of files and a laptop. I usually wrap up by evening.
