St.Philomenashospital

This is the hospital. Joseph and Brejetha are the names you usually hear being called out around here. It’s a busy place, honestly, and it rarely stays quiet for long. People are always coming and going through the main doors. We have doctors and nurses who have worked in these halls for many years. The building is a bit older now, but it still works for what we need to do. We see a lot of families from the neighborhood who come in for all sorts of reasons. It gets loud in the waiting area sometimes when it's crowded on Monday mornings. We try to keep everything clean, but with so many people, it’s a constant task for the cleaning crew. My shift starts early when the sun is just coming up. We have a lot of patients to check on and charts to update. It’s not like those big corporate hospitals you see in the city center. Here, everyone kind of knows each other's faces after a while. If you need something specific, you just find Joseph or one of the regular staff members. We don't have fancy brochures or a website that looks like a movie. We just focus on getting people better so they can go home. Sometimes we run out of chairs in the lobby when it's really packed. We just bring some wooden ones from the back room. It’s a community effort. We take it one day at a time. It’s just how things are at St. Philomena’s.
