St.Philomena'S Hospital

If you head down Airport Road and find the NAL Quarters, we are right there at B 62. This isn't the main hospital building where the surgeries happen, but more of a support spot for the staff and some of the administration work. It’s an old building, but it has a lot of character and it's stayed standing through all the changes in Bangalore. We handle a lot of the logistics from here, like making sure the supplies get to where they need to go and managing the staff quarters. It's a bit of a maze inside with all the hallways and small rooms. We don't have fancy air conditioning everywhere, so we keep the windows open to catch the breeze. You can hear the planes taking off sometimes, which reminds us how close we are to the old airport area. Our desks are a bit cluttered with forms and medical logs, but we keep things moving as best as we can. We’ve been here for a long time and the people living nearby know us well. It’s a busy place but not in a flashy way. We just focus on the day-to-day tasks that keep a big hospital running smoothly behind the scenes. It's a lot of coordination and talking to different departments throughout the day.
