Our office, Steeleye India Private Limited, is situated at No 7 in the KSRTC Layout area of Chikkalasandra. This part of Bangalore, with the pincode 560061, is a bit more tucked away from the main chaos of the city center. It is a residential layout, so things are generally a lot calmer around here. We work out of a pretty standard building that does not stand out much from its neighbors. Inside, it is all about the work. We have our workstations set up in a way that makes sense for us. There aren't any bean bags or ping-pong tables like you might see in some tech startups. We just have chairs, tables, and a decent internet connection. Most of the people working here live nearby, which makes the commute a lot easier than it is for most people in Bangalore. We handle our tasks day by day, making sure we do not fall behind. It is a very down-to-earth environment. We talk to each other across the room instead of sending messages through an app all the time. Chikkalasandra is a nice enough place to be based. It feels like a real community. We are not trying to be the biggest company out there, just one that does a solid job and keeps things moving. It is a quiet life here in KSRTC Layout, but it is exactly how we like it for getting things done without unnecessary distractions.
