We are located out in Kerala, in a place called Ernakulam. The exact spot is Mundolil in Karingamthuruth, which is under the Kongorpilly post office. It is a bit of a mouthful to say if you aren't from around here. Our publishing house is far away from the big city noise, which is actually quite nice for the kind of work we do. Being in Kerala means we are surrounded by a lot of greenery and it stays pretty humid most of the year. We spend our days working on books and various publications. The office isn't anything special, just a solid building where we keep our computers and our stacks of paper. Sometimes the rain here gets so loud on the roof that we have to stop talking for a minute. It’s a quiet life compared to the publishing offices in the bigger metros. We have our own way of doing things, and we don't rush through the work. We take the mail to the Kongorpilly post office ourselves most days. The local people know us, and we are just another small business in the neighborhood. We don't have any big corporate slogans; we just like to put things in print and see them go out into the world. It’s a steady routine of editing, designing, and checking proofs until the sun goes down and we head home to our families nearby. It might not be fancy, but it is our way of living.
