Star Advertising

Star Advertising is located on the 11th floor of the Barton Centre. That is on Mahathma Gandhi Road, right near the Kathriguppe Main Road intersection. Being all the way up on the 11th floor means we spend a lot of our time waiting for the elevators to come. Sometimes they are really slow and it can be a bit frustrating. The view from up here is alright I suppose. It is mostly just other tall buildings and the constant traffic moving down on MG Road. It is a busy office most days. We have desks piled up with papers and old design layouts. It is not as glamorous as some people think advertising work is. Most of the time it is just us sitting in front of our computers or talking on the phone. We have been in Barton Centre for quite a bit now. The 1110 office is where we stay. It can get a bit stuffy in the afternoons when the sun hits the big windows. We usually have the fans going to keep it cool. We are not a big agency with fancy lounges or anything like that. We just have our workstations and a small corner for making tea. The Kathriguppe area is always moving and shaking. We can hear the car horns even from all the way up here. It is a practical space for us. We do the work that needs to be done for Star Advertising. Nothing more and nothing less. It works for us. We are just here.
