St James Publishing Co

You can find us in Jayanagar 1st Block. We are on Temple Street, right at the Palmgrove Road Cross. It’s a very calm part of the neighborhood with plenty of trees. St James Publishing Co has been operating from this spot for quite some time now. We are a small publishing house, not one of those big ones you see in the news. Our office is full of books, stacks of paper, and boxes of printed stuff waiting to be sent out. It’s a bit of a maze inside with all the shelves. We spend our days reading through manuscripts and checking for mistakes. It’s quiet work, mostly. Sometimes the only sound is the keyboard clicking or the ceiling fan spinning. We like being near the temple because it makes the area feel peaceful, though it does get a bit crowded during festivals. We don't have any fancy signs or a modern lobby. It’s just an old-fashioned office with wooden desks and a lot of history. We do the editing and the layout work right here. It’s just a few of us doing what we enjoy. We don't really do big marketing campaigns. Most of our writers find us because they heard about us from someone else. It’s a small operation, but we keep busy enough. We just like making books and being in this part of Jayanagar.
