Our office is located right on Commercial Street in Bangalore. If you know the city, you know how packed this street gets with shoppers and traffic. We’ve been based here for quite a while. Being in such a busy area has its challenges, like the noise and the parking, but it keeps us energized. We are an architecture firm, but we don’t act like those high-end places you see in magazines. We’re just a group of people who know how to draw and plan buildings. We spend a lot of time looking at site maps and trying to figure out how to fit things into tight spaces. That’s probably because we work in such a crowded part of the city ourselves. Our office is usually a bit of a mess with rolls of paper and samples of materials lying around. It’s a working office, not a showroom. We don’t have a PR team or anyone to write fancy speeches for us. We just talk to our clients like normal people. Most of our work comes from folks who have seen what we did for their neighbors or friends. We like the grit and the reality of Commercial Street. It reminds us that buildings are for people to live and work in, not just to look at. We just keep doing our drawings and making sure the measurements are right. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. Sometimes we even work Sundays if a project is really behind.
