We’re over at L-174 in the 6th Sector of HSR Layout. Srishti Software Applications Pvt. Ltd. is our little corner of the world. If you know HSR Layout, you know it’s become a bit of a hub, but our sector still feels like a place where you can actually get work done. We spend most of our time developing applications. It’s a lot of staring at screens and debating over where a button should go or why a piece of code isn’t running. We have a modest office space. There’s a kitchen where we make way too much tea and a few rooms filled with computers. We aren’t trying to be the next global giant; we just want to build software that people find useful. The team here is pretty tight-knit. We don’t have many meetings that could have been emails. Usually, we just shout across the room if we need something. It’s a very informal atmosphere. We don’t wear suits or follow strict corporate rules. The main thing is that the work gets finished on time and the bugs are mostly gone. The address at L-174 has been our home for a while now. We like the local vibe and the food joints nearby. It’s a good place to be if you’re into tech but don’t want the headache of a downtown skyscraper. We just keep our heads down and keep building things.
