Srirama Tailoring Hall

I’ve been working at Srirama Tailoring Hall for a while now. We are tucked away at 47/1 LRK Layout on the 19th Cross in Mahadev Pura. The shop is in the Patel Venkatappa Complex, right near the SBM Bank. If you know the bank, you can find us pretty easily. It’s a small space filled with fabrics, threads, and the sound of sewing machines running. People bring in all sorts of clothes that need fixing or stitching from scratch. Some days I am just sitting at the machine for hours trying to finish a pile of trousers or shirts. It gets a bit dusty with all the cloth bits around, but that’s just how it is in a tailor shop. We have a few regulars who have been coming to us for years. They know we just do our job and don’t talk too much. Sometimes a customer is in a hurry and we have to work a bit faster, but usually, it’s a steady pace. The area around here is always active because of the bank and the other shops in the complex. I like the routine of it. Measuring, cutting, and stitching every day keeps me busy. We don’t have a fancy storefront, just our sign and the work we do inside. It’s a honest way to earn a living and we are happy to be part of the Mahadev Pura neighborhood. We just try to get the measurements right the first time.
