Sriram Books And Gift Center is located at Jai Munirao Circle, right there on the 9th Cross of Magadi Main Road. If you live in Agrahara Dasarahalli, you’ve probably walked past us a hundred times. We keep a lot of school supplies like notebooks, pens, and those geometry boxes that kids are always losing. During the start of the school year, this place is a bit of a madhouse with parents and children everywhere. The rest of the year, it’s a bit more relaxed. We also have a section for gifts, mostly things like small toys, decorative items, and photo frames. The shelves go all the way up to the ceiling, so we often have to use a wooden ladder to reach the stuff at the top. The street outside is always busy with buses and autos, so there is a constant hum of engines coming through the door. We have an old counter where we wrap books in brown paper if people ask. It’s not a big corporate bookstore; it’s just a local shop where you can get a pen and a birthday present at the same time. We’ve been at this spot for years, and we’ve seen the kids grow up from primary school to college. It’s a nice feeling to be part of the neighborhood like that. We just do our work and keep the shop going every day without any fuss.
