Srinivasaiah M Advocate

Srinivasaiah M Advocate is my practice, located on the 1st Floor of the Hsshms Complex at 3 Cubbonpet, Shreepal Nagar. It’s an old building, and the stairs are a bit steep, so you have to watch your step coming up. The office is mostly filled with tall stacks of paper and heavy law books that have been there for years. It’s not a modern, glass-walled office like you see in some parts of the city. It’s just a quiet place where we sit and go through documents. I have a small desk and a few chairs for when people come in to talk about their cases. Cubbonpet is a very busy area, but once you get inside the complex and up to the first floor, it’s relatively calm. We spend a lot of time reading and writing out legal points. There isn't a big staff here, just me and a helper who keeps the files in order. Most of the people who come to see me are from the surrounding neighborhood or have been told about the office by someone they know. We don't do any big marketing or anything like that. People just bring their problems, and we see what the law says about them. It’s a lot of long hours and careful reading, often under a flickering tube light. The windows look out over the street, so there's always a bit of noise from the traffic below, but we've gotten used to it.
