Srikanta Dutta

I am Srikanta Dutta and I have been running my place at 1412 Rajajinagar for quite some time. We are situated right near the Navarang theater, which is a landmark everyone in this part of Bangalore knows. The office is part of an older building, so it has that classic feel with high ceilings and thick walls. I don't go for modern office decor; it’s mostly just wooden cupboards and stacks of documents that have built up over the years. My work involves a lot of reading and meeting with people from the locality. We sit down, have a glass of water, and talk through whatever issues they are facing. It could be about property, or it could be some other local matter that needs attention. Rajajinagar is a place where people still value face-to-face talk. I don't use any fancy software to manage things; a simple ledger and a pen usually do the trick for me. Sometimes it gets a bit busy when people are coming out of the theater and the streets get crowded, but inside it stays mostly quiet. I’ve lived around here most of my life, so I know the streets and the people well. It’s not about being a big company; it’s just about being a person people can come to when they need something sorted. The door is usually open during the day for anyone who wants to walk in.
