Srihari Solar Systems

You can find us over at No. 79 on 17th Cross, right on the Andrahalli Main Road in the Peenya 2nd stage. If you know anything about Peenya, you know it’s a real industrial hub. There’s always the sound of machines and trucks moving about. We work with solar systems, so a lot of our time is spent either on roofs or in the warehouse checking out panels and batteries. It’s dusty work and can get pretty hot when the sun is out, but that’s exactly when the solar stuff works best, so we don't complain much. Our office is just a small part of the whole setup. We usually have parts and tools scattered around because there is always something being fixed or prepared for an installation. We aren't the type to wear suits and ties. Most of us are in work clothes because we’re hands-on with the equipment. We started this because we saw how much sense solar made, especially with the power cuts around here. It’s practical stuff. We just want to get the systems installed so they actually work for people. Sometimes a job takes longer than we thought because of some weird roof angle or wiring issue, but we stay until it’s right. It’s just a group of us trying to make a living and doing something that makes sense for the environment at the same time.
