Srichella Silks

Our shop is located at 13/3 in the Shantinagar Society area, right along Anand Mahal Road near the Agaram Post. It is a decent spot, though the road gets pretty loud with buses passing by all day. We have been working out of this space for quite a while now. The building is older, so you can see some wear on the walls, but it serves its purpose for keeping the silk safe and dry. Every morning, I walk down the street from the bus stop and get the keys out. There is a small tea stall nearby where I usually grab a cup before I start moving the heavy bundles around. The shelves are mostly full, sometimes a bit messy if we had a busy afternoon the day before. People coming from the post office often stop in just to see what is new. We don't have any big signs or bright flashing lights outside. It is just a simple place with a door that sticks a bit when the weather gets humid. Most of the time, I am just sitting behind the counter checking the ledgers or talking to the neighbors. The sunlight hits the front window around three in the afternoon, which makes it a bit warm inside, but we just open the back door to let the breeze in. It is a quiet way to spend the day, just managing the stock and waiting for the evening rush to settle down.
