Sri Vinayaka Industries

Our workshop is located in Kamakshipalya, right near the Ambabhavani Temple on 1st Main. It’s a bit of an older neighborhood, and you can hear the bells from the temple sometimes when things get quiet. Sri Vinayaka Industries has been operating out of this space at 103 for quite some time. It’s a dusty, busy part of town with a lot of small industries and workshops packed together. Inside, it’s mostly just the sound of machines and people talking over the noise. We aren't a big factory with shiny floors; we have oil on our hands and tools scattered around where we need them. Every morning starts with opening up the shutters and checking what needs to be finished from the day before. The area can get pretty crowded with trucks and tempos moving through the narrow streets, so we have to be careful with loading and unloading. We know most of the other shop owners around here, and we help each other out when someone needs a specific tool or a hand with something heavy. It’s not a fancy life, but it’s what we know. We focus on getting the parts made right and making sure they get to the customers on time. There is a lot of hard work involved, and the heat in the summer can be tough, but we just keep at it. It’s a regular routine that works for us and our small crew. We just keep building.
