Sri Vijayalakshmi Tours & Travels

Sri Vijayalakshmi Tours & Travels is located at 38 Yelachenahalli on Mallikarjuna Temple Street. We are very close to Adigas Bakery, so we usually spend our mornings smelling the fresh bread and coffee from next door. Our office is quite small and filled with brochures, old calendars, and maps of various routes. We spend our time booking buses, planning trips, and answering a lot of questions about travel times and ticket prices. Being on Temple Street means it gets quite crowded during festivals, but we like being part of the local scene. It’s not a high-end travel agency with leather chairs. We just have some plastic chairs for customers and a couple of old computers that we use for bookings. Sometimes the phones won't stop ringing and other times it's completely silent for an hour. We know most of the drivers and we know which roads are currently a mess because of construction. Yelachenahalli is home for us, and we’ve been here long enough to know many of the neighbors who stop by just to chat. We don't try to sell people things they don't need. If a trip is going to be long and tiring, we tell them exactly what to expect. It’s just a simple business where we try to help people get from one place to another without too much trouble. We just keep things practical and keep the office open until the work is done.
