Sri Translations

Sri Translations is at 69 Commissariat Road. We are quite near the BTS Depot, which makes it easier for people to find us in this part of the city. This area is always full of buses and people moving around. We spend our days taking text from one language and putting it into another. It takes a lot of time and we have to stay focused. The office is not very big at all. It is mostly just some desks and computers with papers piled up. We have windows that look out onto the road, so we can see the buses coming and going from the depot all day. It gives the day a bit of a rhythm. We are not a fancy agency with a big lobby. It is just a small group of us working through whatever documents come in. The coffee machine in the corner is a bit temperamental, so sometimes we have to go out for a drink. We work with many different scripts. Some days are busy and some are a bit slower, but there is always something to read. People come by with all sorts of letters and certificates for us to look at. We just try to get the work done as clearly as we can. It is a very plain way to work, and we have been in this neighborhood for quite a while now.
