Our office is at 2A, Dhana Laxmi Towers on Dharam Karam Road, right across from Sun Shine Public School. If you’ve ever been to Ameerpet, you know how crazy the traffic can get around here. Sri Systems India Pvt. Ltd. is basically a group of us sitting at desks surrounded by computers and tangled cables. It’s not the most glamorous setup, but it’s where we get everything done. The school across the street means it gets really noisy around the time the kids leave, so we usually try to schedule our quiet work for the mornings. We spend a lot of time staring at screens and talking on the phone with people who are having trouble with their setups. There’s always a box of spare parts or old keyboards sitting in the corner that we haven’t gotten around to throwing out yet. Our break room is just a small table with a coffee maker that has seen better days. We don’t put on airs here; it’s a practical workspace for people who know their way around a motherboard. Sometimes the internet goes down and we all have to wait around, which is the only time it’s actually peaceful. Most of our clients are businesses in the city who need things fixed fast. We just keep our heads down and try to solve the problems as they come in.
