The post office at Virgonagar is the nearest big point, and Kk Halli is just a short distance away too. It’s a very busy spot to have an office because the roads are always packed with vehicles. You see buses, taxis, and motorbikes zooming past all day long. The air is often thick with exhaust, but that is part of being in this section of town. We have a small desk and a couple of chairs for anyone who stops by. Most of the day is spent on the phone or checking the schedules for the various trips. The building itself is older, and you can hear the sounds from the neighbors through the thin walls. Sometimes people get lost looking for us because the street numbering in Subhash Nagar can be a bit confusing. We usually tell them to look for the Kk Halli landmark. It isn't a flashy place, just a room where we keep the keys and the logbooks. We drink a lot of coffee to stay sharp.
