Sri Sai Jyothi Travels. Our office is at No.29 on the 4th Main in Sultanpalya, over in the RT Nagar area. It’s a residential neighborhood mostly, so it’s a bit quieter than the main roads. We have a small sign out front so people can find the gate. Most of our work involves managing the cars and talking to the drivers who handle the local trips. We have a couple of old wooden tables and some plastic chairs for when customers come in to talk. The walls are a bit plain, maybe they need a new coat of paint, but we haven't gotten around to it yet. We spend a lot of time looking at maps and checking the time. Managing travel is mostly about waiting for the phone to ring and then making sure someone is available to drive. We have a big calendar on the wall where we mark down the bookings with a marker. Sometimes it gets confusing when plans change at the last minute, but we just deal with it. The neighborhood kids often play cricket in the lane outside, so we have to be careful when moving the vehicles. We aren't a big corporate company with a call center. It’s just us here in Sultanpalya, taking calls and trying to make sure the cars get to where they need to be on time without any drama. It’s hard work but we have been doing it for years now.
