Sri Maruthi Novelties

Our shop is situated right across from Santhosh Sea Food in Sadar Bazar. It is a very busy spot in Nagarbhavi, and most people around here know the landmark well. We are at number 1692 on the street. It is a small place but we manage to pack it with a lot of different stuff. We mainly sell small novelties, school items for the kids, and various household bits and pieces. I spend most of my day sitting here just organizing the racks or talking to the delivery guys. The street gets quite loud around lunch time because of all the food places nearby and the people coming for their break. It is a good neighborhood to be in for a business like ours. We have seen many shops come and go over the years, but we have stayed put in this same spot. It is not a fancy air-conditioned store or anything like that. We just have some metal shelves and a wooden counter. We get a lot of local residents walking by after they do their daily grocery shopping. Sometimes the school children come in looking for toys or stickers after their classes finish. I try to keep everything where I can find it, though it often gets a bit messy when we get new boxes delivered in the afternoon. My neighbor who runs the seafood shop is a nice man. If you are ever in Nagarbhavi looking for something specific, you might find it on our shelves. We do not do any flashy advertising or posters. Just the sign outside and the door is usually open for whoever walks in.
