Sri Maruthi Air Travels

Up here in Rajajinagar on Shahibaug Road, we’ve got our little office at 64/B. It’s a straightforward setup. We handle air travel bookings and other travel needs for the folks around this neighborhood. Rajajinagar has its own pace, and we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We usually open up in the morning and start going through the flight schedules. It's not always easy with how prices change, but we just do the work. People from the nearby streets come in when they’re planning to visit family or go on a vacation. We sit down, look at the screen, and see what fits their dates. It’s a lot of typing and checking passports. We don’t try to be anything we’re not. The office is just a place where business happens. Shahibaug Road stays pretty active, so there’s always something going on outside the window. We’ve seen many people come and go, some going abroad for the first time and others just heading to another city for work. We keep track of the tickets and make sure the names are spelled right. That’s the main part of the job, really. It’s quiet some hours and then three people walk in at once. We just take it as it comes. Being a local travel spot means we recognize a lot of the faces that walk through the door. We just keep the files organized and the coffee going while we work to get the bookings done properly.
