Sri Lakshmi Times

You can find us at the Unity Building on J.C. Road. We are on the ground floor in the Tower Block, specifically at No.1. It’s right across from the Hmtco show room, which is a big landmark around here. J.C. Road is always crowded with vehicles and people moving about. Our shop, Sri Lakshmi Times, has been part of this building for a good while. We mostly deal with timepieces and clocks. It’s a lot of sitting and focusing on small movements. The building itself is quite old and has that specific smell of concrete and age. We have customers who have been coming to this area for years. Some come in because they work nearby in one of the many offices. It gets a bit dark in the ground floor hallway sometimes, but our shop is well-lit. We have shelves lined with various clocks and watches. Sometimes the ticking gets quite loud when it's quiet in the shop. We just keep busy with the repairs and helping whoever walks in. It’s a straightforward business. No big bells or whistles here. Just a desk, some chairs, and plenty of tools for the watches. Being in the Unity Building means we see a lot of the city's daily life passing by the front doors. We open the shutters every morning and get to work. That’s our routine at Sri Lakshmi Times. We don't change much, just keep the clocks running for everyone.
