Sri Krishna Tours & Travels

If you go to the Mayura Complex right across from the Majestic Bus Stand, you will find Sri Krishna Tours & Travels. We are at 19 Kempa Gowda Road, right near the Tank Bund area. It is always loud and crowded out there with all the buses and people moving around. We have been sitting in this office for a long time, watching the city change. Mostly, we help people figure out their bus tickets or plan a trip when they come into the city. It’s a small space, filled with old maps and ledgers. We don't use much of that high-tech software you see nowadays. It is more about knowing the routes and which drivers are reliable. The phone rings a lot, usually someone asking about timings or if there is space on a van going out of town. We see travelers from all over the country passing through Majestic. Some are just looking for a cheap way home and others want to see the sights. We just sit here and do our best to get them sorted. It gets very hot in the afternoons, but the tea stall nearby is good. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything. People just see our sign when they get off the bus or walk down from the railway station. It’s a messy, busy life but it keeps us going. We hope the traffic gets better someday.
