We are based at 19 Kempa Gowda Road, right inside the Hotel Mayura Complex. If you know that area, you know how busy it gets with all the buses and people moving around. Our office is a small space where we manage the cars and the travel schedules. It’s often a bit noisy outside with the traffic on KG Road, but that’s just how it is in this part of town. We spend a lot of time on the phone, checking where drivers are or making sure a booking is still on track. Sometimes the internet is slow or a customer changes their mind at the last minute, and we have to scramble. It’s not a glamorous job, mostly just coordinating people and vehicles. We have maps on the wall and a few old calendars. People come in looking for a way to get out of the city for the weekend or just a ride to the station. We’ve seen plenty of tourists and locals pass through our doors. The chairs in the waiting area have seen better days, but they do the job. We know the routes around here like the back of our hands. It’s a lot of checking fuel levels and making sure the keys are in the right spot. Being at the Mayura Complex means we are right in the thick of things. We just try to keep the cars running and the schedules tight, even when the city traffic tries to mess everything up.
