Sri Dhanalakshmi Engineering Works

We are Sri Dhanalakshmi Engineering Works, located at 37/2 in Okalipuram. You can find us on 12th Main. It’s a busy street with lots of people moving around all the time. The shop has been here for years. We do engineering work, mostly fixing things and making small parts. It’s a noisy place with the lathes and the drills going all day. Sometimes we have to shout just to hear each other over the engines. Okalipuram is a tight-knit area. We’ve seen kids grow up and start their own businesses nearby. Our space isn't very big, so we have to stay organized, or everything gets piled up in the corners. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop in town. We just want to do a decent job for whoever walks in. The 12th Main road gets crowded during the markets. Sometimes it’s hard to park right in front. We usually tell people to park a block over. We’ve got a couple of guys who have been with us since the start. They know the machines better than anyone. Sri Dhanalakshmi Engineering Works is just a simple place. We don't have a website or anything like that. People just know us from being here so long. We drink a lot of tea and work hard. That's the way it's always been at 37/2. If you need something fixed, you can usually find one of us hanging around the front entrance. We just keep things moving.
