Sri Annapoorneshwari Tours & Travels is located at 185 Jayanagar West. We are on the 2nd Main in the 8th Block, very close to the Ganesh Temple. Most people use the temple as a landmark when they are coming to see us. We have been arranging trips and travel for the local community from this small office for a good number of years. It’s a nice, leafy part of Jayanagar, and the atmosphere is usually quite pleasant. We have maps and schedules pinned up all over the walls. It is not a corporate travel agency with uniform-wearing staff. We are just a few people who know the roads and the best places to visit. Whether someone needs a car for a day trip or a longer bus journey, we just sort it out. We spend a lot of time on the phone checking with drivers and making sure everything is on time. Sometimes the traffic in Bangalore makes things difficult, but we do what we can. Our desk is usually covered in notebooks and receipts. We like to chat with the people who come in, hearing about where they want to go and why. It is a personal way of doing things. We stay open late most evenings because that is when people are done with work and have time to plan their holidays. It is a steady, honest business that relies on the neighborhood families coming back to us.
