Our office sits at 93/4-12 on the Marathahalli Hosur Main Road. It’s a very busy stretch of road, so there’s always the constant sound of horns and trucks passing by the front door. We spend our time looking at maps, dealing with property papers, and talking to folks who are looking for a bit of land or a new place to stay. It’s not the kind of job where you sit still for very long. We’re often out visiting sites or meeting people at different locations to show them around. The office itself is pretty simple with a couple of desks and some chairs for visitors to sit on. We have folders piled up with all the different projects we are looking into at the moment. Marathahalli is growing so fast, and being on the Main Road means we see all that change happening right outside our window every day. Sometimes people just walk in off the street to ask about the prices in the area. We try to give them straight answers without any fluff or talk. It’s hard work because real estate involves a lot of waiting and checking on things with the local authorities. We’ve been here for a while and have seen how the neighborhood has filled up with all these new buildings. It’s a lot of coordination between different people. We just keep our heads down and handle the daily tasks.
