Sree Raghavendra Fancy Store

We have been here at 373 4th cross for a long time now. New Thippasandra is a busy place, especially in the evenings when everyone comes out to buy things for their homes. Sree Raghavendra Fancy Store isn't a big place, but we try to keep a bit of everything on the shelves. You can find safety pins, hair bands, and those small gift items kids like for school birthdays. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded inside because the space is narrow, and the boxes are stacked up pretty high near the back. Krishnarajapuram has changed a lot since we first opened, but this corner stays mostly the same. My hands are usually busy dusting off the glass cases or counting out change for someone buying a single pen. It is a lot of standing around and waiting for the afternoon heat to pass. We don't have any fancy air conditioning, just the old ceiling fan that makes a bit of noise. Most people who live around here know us by face. They stop by after work or while walking their kids home. It is a simple life running a shop like this. You see the same faces every day, and you learn who likes what. The shelves are always a bit of a mess no matter how much I try to organize them. That is just how a fancy store works, I guess. We just keep the doors open and see who comes in.
