Our place is right in the middle of the bustle at Madivala Patel Market. It’s a busy spot, especially being so close to the Madivala Masjid. There is always noise from the market and the sound of buses coming and going. We’ve been operating from here for a long time, so we know the rhythm of the place. We mostly deal with bus travel and getting people to where they need to go. The mornings start early and the nights end late because the buses don't really stop. The office is small and usually has a few people waiting around for their departure time. We spend a lot of time on the phone checking where the drivers are or if the roads are clear. It's not a glamorous job. There is a lot of paperwork and checking tickets. We see all kinds of people, from students heading home to workers traveling for a new job. Everyone is in a hurry, so we just try to keep things moving. We don't have a slick sales team. It's just us at the counter. Sometimes the traffic on the main road is a nightmare, but we manage. We just focus on the basics of travel. The market is a great place to be because there is always energy around. We’ve grown used to the chaos of the area and it just feels like home now. We try to keep things simple for the passengers who come through our doors.
