Sree Guru Raghavendra

You’ll find Sree Guru Raghavendra at F-5 in Basavanagudi. This is an old part of the city, and we like the feel of it. We’ve been operating out of this space for a good number of years. It’s a small place, nothing too fancy, just enough room for us to get our work done. We deal with various things that come our way, mostly helping people with their daily requirements or paperwork. Basavanagudi has its own rhythm, and we’ve become a part of it. We don't have a marketing team or anyone telling us how to speak. We just talk to people like they are our neighbors, because usually, they are. The office has a bit of an old smell, like paper and ink, which we’ve grown used to. There are always people walking by on the street, and we often have someone dropping in just to ask a question. We don't mind. We aren't chasing some big goal or trying to be the best at anything. We just want to do our work properly and go home at the end of the day. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to sit in the dark for a bit, but that’s just life here. We keep our records in big ledgers and on an old computer that hums quite a bit. It’s a simple setup but it works for us and the people who come to see us. We usually keep some tea and biscuits for visitors. We open up around ten and stay until the work is finished.
