You can find S.R. Patwari & Co. over at No. 49 on Narayanamudali Street in Sowcarpet. If you’ve ever been to Sowcarpet, you know exactly how hectic it is. The streets are narrow, and there are people and carts moving in every direction all day long. Our place is right in the middle of that madness. We’ve been operating from this same spot for years, and not much has changed in terms of how we do things. We deal with a lot of paperwork and goods coming in and out. It’s a busy environment where the phone is usually ringing and someone is always at the door asking about an order. We don’t have any fancy decorations or a big sign. It’s just a workspace filled with ledgers and stacks of items. The air is always full of the smells of the market outside. We aren't trying to be anything we aren't. We’re just a local company doing our daily chores and making sure our clients get what they need. Some days the heat is really something else, and the noise from the street never really stops until late at night. We’ve gotten used to the rhythm of Narayanamudali Street though. It’s a tough place to work sometimes because of the crowds, but it’s where we belong. We just keep our heads down and focus on the work at hand, day after day, making sure the records are straight and the deliveries are moving.
