Our office for Squadm Technologies Pvt. Ltd. is over at 108 18th Main in Vijayanagar. It is a standard spot in a neighborhood that has grown a lot lately. We spend most of our time in front of computers, working on different tech projects that come our way. The building is easy enough to find if you are familiar with the 18th Main layout. Inside, it is mostly just desks, chairs, and a lot of power strips. We are not one of those big tech giants with a gym or a cafeteria. We usually go out to the local stalls in Vijayanagar when we need a meal. The work involves a lot of sitting and typing, which can get tiring after a few hours. We try to take breaks and talk about things other than software every now and then. The team is small, so everyone knows what everyone else is doing. There is not much hierarchy here; we just divide the tasks and get on with it. Sometimes the internet goes slow and we all complain together until it is fixed. We have been in this spot for a bit now and it feels like home. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we are usually too busy to worry about that. It is a practical workspace for people who just want to do their jobs without a lot of fuss. We stay focused on the tasks and try to head home on time.
