You can find our office at The Millenia, Tower B, on Level 1. It’s one of those big modern buildings, so it’s a bit different from some of the smaller workshops we’ve been in before. We focus on solar technologies here. Our space is mostly taken up by desks, computers, and a few prototypes we’re testing out. It’s a bit of a maze sometimes with all the wires and components we have lying around. We’re a small group, and we usually just get straight to work without much fuss. We don’t have any big mission statements on the walls. We just want to get the solar tech working right for the projects we’re handling. The lobby downstairs is always full of people, but once you get up to our floor, it’s a bit quieter. We spend a lot of time looking at site plans and calculating how much energy we can get from different setups. Sometimes we have to go out to the actual sites, which is a nice break from being in the office. It’s not all sunshine and easy work; there’s a lot of math and technical troubleshooting involved. We try to keep things organized, but when we’re busy, the paperwork tends to pile up. It’s just how we operate. We’re a practical bunch of people trying to make a living in the solar industry. We usually call it a day around six-thirty and fight the traffic home.
