Spicejet

I live at the Madappillikunnel house in Kalloorkad P.O. It’s near Muvattupuzha in the Ernakulam district of Kerala. My work life is connected to Spicejet, which is a big airline, but my home life is much more quiet and rural. Kerala is a beautiful state, and living here in Ernakulam district gives me a lot of peace. The house is a traditional family home, not a modern office. I’ve spent many years at this address, and it’s where I return after my travels for the company. Spicejet is a well-known name, but in Kalloorkad, I’m just another neighbor. We have a lot of trees around the property and the pace of life is slow. I don't have a flashy office or a team of assistants. Most of my work involves traveling to different airports, so my time at Madappillikunnel(H) is very valuable to me. Muvattupuzha is the nearest big town, and I go there for most of my shopping and errands. I don't really like the corporate way of speaking, so I just tell people I work for the airline and leave it at that. It’s an honest job and it allows me to live in this nice part of India. The house is often full of relatives and it can get a bit noisy, but I wouldn't have it any other way. It’s a simple life balanced between the high-flying world of aviation and the steady, grounded atmosphere of my home in Kerala.
