Spicejet

We are based out of an office on the second floor of a building in Chikkagala Post. It’s in the northern part of Bangalore, which feels a bit different from the city center. The address is number 40, and we share the space with a few other things. It’s a bit of a trek to get out here, but it’s quieter than being right in the middle of the noise. Since this is a Spicejet office, we deal with a lot of stuff related to the airline, but it’s mostly the behind-the-scenes paperwork and coordination. The office itself is quite simple, with basic desks and some old filing cabinets that have seen better days. We don’t have a big fancy lobby or anything like that. You walk up the stairs to the second floor and you’ll find us there. There’s usually a lot of paper moving around and people talking on their mobiles. Sometimes we get birds landing on the window sills because it’s a bit more open out here in Chikkagala. We bring our own lunch boxes from home and eat together when we can find a spare moment. The fans hum all day long to keep the air moving. It isn't a glamorous job, but it’s steady work and we have a good group of people here. We just try to keep everything organized so the flights can keep moving, even if we are far from the airport and the planes.
