At Spatial Data Pvt Ltd, we’ve made our home in Rajajinagar, specifically on the 3rd Main in the 1st Block of the 2nd Stage. Bangalore has grown so much, but this part of Rajajinagar still feels familiar to us. We work with maps and geographic information, which basically means we spend a lot of time looking at screens and data sets. It’s detailed work that requires a lot of staring at coordinates and lines. Our office is a simple place where we keep our servers and workstations. It’s not a high-tech showroom; it’s just a place where we sit down and do the work. The neighborhood is fairly busy, with people always moving about on the 3rd Main. We often see the same faces every day when we step out for tea. We’ve been here long enough that we don’t need a map to find our way around, ironically enough. Sometimes the data we get is messy and takes a long time to clean up, which can be frustrating, but we just keep at it until it’s right. We aren't a giant corporation with hundreds of employees. We’re just a small group of people who understand spatial information and like living and working in this part of town. It’s a steady job, and we take pride in getting the details right for the projects we handle. It’s just honest, technical work in a nice part of Bangalore.
