Spandhan Heart Center

Spandhan Heart Center is tucked away in the Gayathri building on 5th Main Road in Chamarajpet. It’s a busy part of Bangalore, especially with Uma Theatre right there. People usually find us by looking for the theatre first. The building isn't fancy, but it gets the job done. We spend most of our days here looking at heart stuff, checking reports, and talking to folks from the neighborhood. It gets a bit noisy outside with the traffic, but inside we try to keep things steady. Most of the people who come here are locals from around Chamarajpet or nearby areas. We've been here for a while now. The floors are plain, the chairs are just regular office chairs, and the walls have some posters about health that have been there for ages. Sometimes the lift acts up, so some people just take the stairs. It’s just a normal clinic where we do our work. We see a lot of older folks coming in for their regular checkups. Sometimes they bring their grandkids along because there's nobody else at home to watch them. You can hear the city sounds through the windows all day. It isn't a quiet hospital like the big ones on the main roads. It feels more like a part of the community here. We know the shopkeepers nearby and the tea stall guy knows when we need a break. That is just how things go at our place on 5th Main.
