Apollo Hospital

While everyone knows the big Apollo Hospital buildings, this spot is more of a local administrative or staff-related branch. We have people like Syeda Shama Bano working here every day. It’s a very grounded, everyday kind of place. We aren't the ones in white coats doing surgery; we are the ones handling the records, the appointments, and the coordination that keeps a hospital system functioning properly. The area outside is always loud with traffic and people moving toward the main hospital or the local markets. Inside, we just have our desks and our computers. We spend a lot of time talking to patients’ families or organizing stacks of files. It can be a bit stressful because health is a serious business, but we try to keep a calm head and get things done. It’s not a fancy office with leather chairs or a big reception. It’s a place where work gets done so that the doctors can do theirs without worrying about the paperwork. We deal with a lot of data every single day to make sure everything is in order. We’ve been here in this neighborhood for a bit, and we’ve become part of the local routine.
