Spandana Nursing Home

Spandana Nursing Home is located in an interesting spot. We are at number 316 in the Sunkadakatte Industrial Estate. Usually, you expect to find factories or workshops in an industrial estate, and they are definitely all around us. You can hear the hum of machines and see the trucks going past. Being in building 316 means we are right in the middle of that working-class energy. It’s a plain building. We don’t have those big glass walls or marble floors you see in the new city hospitals. Everything here is simple and functional. The walls are painted a basic white, and the chairs in the waiting area are just the standard plastic or metal ones. We spend our days dealing with whatever comes through the door. Because we are in the industrial area, we see a lot of people who work in the nearby units. It gets dusty outside because of the unpaved parts of the estate, so we’re always sweeping the front. It’s a busy life here. The staff knows most of the regular faces from the factories nearby. We don't have a PR person or a marketing budget. We just stay open and do what needs to be done. It’s a practical place for a nursing home. We just keep our heads down and work. The 316 address is easy enough for the locals to find.
