Swathi Nursing Home

Swathi Nursing Home is situated at No. 1764, Radhakrishna, on the 14th Main in Kumaraswamy Layout. This is in the southern part of Bangalore, 560 078. The building has been here for quite some time and it is a well-known landmark for the people living in the layout. It is not a giant hospital with glass walls; it is a more traditional nursing home setup. We have the usual rooms for patients and a small area where the nurses sit. The 14th Main is a fairly busy stretch, so there are always people walking by or cars parking along the side of the road. Inside, it smells like a typical clinic—a bit of antiseptic and old paper. The furniture is functional and has been used for years. We do not spend much time on making the place look trendy. The focus is just on the patients who come in. Sometimes the waiting area gets a bit cramped when it is a busy day, but everyone manages. We have a small staff who have been with us for a while. It is a neighborhood place, really. Residents from around Kumaraswamy Layout come here because it is close and they know who we are. It is a bit worn down in places, but it is a solid building that serves its purpose for the community. We just keep things running day and night to make sure everything is taken care of properly.
