Span Health Center

We have been here at No 96 on SV Road for quite a while now. Most people know us because we are right opposite the Ulsoor bus stop where the buses go towards Shivajinagar. It’s a busy spot, especially in the mornings when everyone is rushing to work. The clinic isn't very big, but it serves the folks around Ulsoor well enough. My desk is usually covered in papers and folders because there is always something to do. We see a lot of people coming in with coughs or just looking for a check-up. Sometimes the traffic outside gets really loud, and you can hear the bus drivers honking, but we are used to it by now. The chairs in the waiting area have seen better days, though they are still comfortable for a short wait. We try to keep things organized, but sometimes it gets a bit hectic when three people walk in at once. We don't have fancy decorations or anything like that. It's just a regular health center where we do our daily work. Usually, I'm here early to open up the shutters. It’s a bit dusty because of the road construction nearby, so there is a lot of cleaning to do every single morning. People from the neighborhood stop by, and we know most of their names. It’s just how things are around here in this part of town.
