Axel Technology

We are located at Spa Plaza on OTC Road. Our shop covers numbers 5, 7, and 9 on the ground floor, so we have a bit of space to work with. Axel Technology is mostly about fixing things and selling parts. Since we are on the ground floor, people are always popping in with a broken screen or a laptop that won't turn on. The area around OTC Road is always loud and full of movement. Inside the shop, it’s a bit of a different world. We have benches set up with magnifying glasses and soldering irons. There are usually parts scattered around because we’re in the middle of three different jobs at once. We don't have a polished sales floor. It’s more of a working space where you can see the tools we use. The staff knows their stuff, but we don't talk in a way that’s meant to confuse people. We just tell you if something can be fixed or if it’s better to just get a new one. Sometimes we’re waiting on a part to come from across town, so there’s some downtime where we just sit and talk. We’ve been in Spa Plaza for long enough that the other shop owners are like neighbors. It’s a good spot for a tech business because everyone knows where OTC Road is. We just keep our heads down and fix what comes in.
