You can find us at 840/A on 100Ft Road in Indiranagar. This is one of those streets in Bangalore that never really sleeps. Southindies has been part of this neighborhood for a long time. We are a restaurant, and that means our days are mostly about food and people. The kitchen starts early with the smells of tempering spices and fresh ingredients. It’s a busy place, especially during the lunch hour when everyone from the nearby offices comes in. We don't have a lot of fancy decorations or a polished corporate vibe. It’s just a place to sit down and have a good meal. The wooden chairs have some scuffs and the floors see a lot of foot traffic. We try to keep the service moving, but when the place is full, things can get a bit slow. We are just honest about it. Our staff has been with us through a lot, and we just focus on the cooking. We don't do big advertisements. Most people come because they like the food or they walked past and liked the smell. It’s hard work being on your feet all day, but we like seeing the same people come back week after week. It makes the long hours feel like they are worth something. We just keep the stove going and make sure the coffee is always fresh and hot.
