South Eastern Roadways Ltd. is located out in Agaram, which is a small village post near Hosur. If you are looking for us, you’ll have to head into the Krishnagiri district. It’s a lot different out here compared to the big cities. The air is a bit dustier because of all the trucks moving through the taluk. Our office is more of a functional hub for the roadways work. We deal with a lot of drivers and transport schedules throughout the day. The building itself is quite plain, sitting right where the village meets the main transit paths. You can hear the engines idling outside most of the morning. It’s a practical place, built for work rather than looking good in a brochure. We have a few rooms where the staff handles the logs and the paperwork. It gets quite hot in this part of the country during the summer, so we keep the fans running all day long. Most of the people working here are from around the Agaram area or Hosur, so we know the local roads like the back of our hands. It's not the kind of place where you wear a suit and tie. We’re usually in sturdy clothes that can handle a bit of dirt and outdoor work. It’s honest work, and we’ve been part of this Krishnagiri landscape for a long time now.
