Sotc

Sotc is based at 36/1, 1st Main, 3rd Cross in Kasturai Ba Nagar. We’re right off Mysore Road, near the Tolger area in Bangalore. It’s a busy spot with lots of buses and trucks moving through all day long. We spend our time here helping people figure out where they want to go and how to get there. Usually, it’s a lot of looking at schedules and trying to find flights or trains that aren't completely full. It gets pretty loud outside with the traffic, so we keep the door shut most of the time. We aren't travel gurus or anything like that; we just have the computers and the phone lines to get the bookings done. Sometimes the systems are slow and we have to ask people to wait a bit. We don't have any fancy brochures with fake-looking photos. Most people come in knowing where they want to go and they just need us to handle the paperwork. It’s a small office with a couple of desks and some chairs for people to sit while we work things out. We’ve been at this location for a while, so most of the shopkeepers around here know us. We just try to get the tickets right so nobody gets stuck at the airport. It’s a straightforward job and we do it every day from morning until the sun goes down. Most of the time it’s just sorting out visas and checking dates twice.
